This and many more adages will live for many years to come. Here we have a cricketer who will remain a mystery becuase of his sheer commitment towards the Game.


What kills you off  is the attitude and passion this man carries, he has already done it all in Cricket. Still  he is one player about whom none have heard any ill thing ( leave apart those rubbish comments of Gilchrist, which he immediately took back for the right). I mean for 2 long Decades a guy 5 feet and some inches is busy breaking records(some even say before he leaves the dressing room, there is a record in making ) without getting into controversies watsoever ( ball tempering allegation was no less than a SIN ).

Inspite of the Record of number of records, Sachin has to prove himself in every circumstances, in every series and in every damn match. Critics might say records are nothing without results, But try to match his position, when he single handedly won matches for his country ( we have seen team tumbling after his dismissal like pack of cards) may be he is right when he said "This is the best Indian team he has played for". Only reason being with so many match winners in side he can play his own natural game which is FLAWLESS ( remember how he literally cut out the cover drive during his Double century against mighty Aussies).

For me and many others he is the Best Player and will always be. Majorly because of the player he is and no less for the kind of person Sachin is.

Brian Lara on the other hand, has struggled in finals, averaging only 28.16, more than 12 runs below his career average. His one century and two fifties all came in his first four innings; in his last 14 finals, his highest score was 35.

On a train from Shimla to Delhi, there was a halt in one of the stations. The train stopped by for few minutes as usual. Sachin was nearing century, batting on 98. The passengers, railway officials, everyone on the train waited for Sachin to complete the century. This Genius can stop time in India!!

   

 

Que: Who do you think as most important celebrity ?

Shahrukh: There was a big party where stars from bollywood and cricket were invited. Suddenly, there was a big noise, all wanted to see approaching Amitabh Bachhan. Then Sachin entered the hall and Amitabh was leading the queue to get a grab of the GENIUS!!

This was a THANKS  for all the moments he gave me to cheer about :). Entry is not much of my own but a compilation of  about what a sportsman he is.
