So its September time again and to be very honest this month has always been very close to me.
Most of the Credit goes to the song " wake me when September ends" by Greenday( happens to be my fav band) the lyrics, music and even video(which surprisingly is very emotional) are beautifully shot, making it one of the best from Greenday's stable.
Secondly September is the month wherein some of my Best Friends were born ;) party time, huh(Hurrraaayyyy !!!!) :) so wishing them all A great career & life ahead :)
This month brings back lots of memories, for ex. the celebration of bdays in school which was so novel still simple that it is very very fresh in my mind... the Bday boy has to come in his Bday Dress( no School dress for u on ur Bday ;)) then whole class used to Stand up to join Class Teacher in a Song which is CLASSIC( even Gulzar will fail to match this innocence)
so just for u Guys- The Song :)
Aaj Janamdin aya hai
Kitni Khushiya laya haiSab miljulkar gayenge(khayenge for his friends ;))
Sab Anand Manyenge :)
(To jitender(6sep), poonam(7th sep), kushal(9 sep), kamal(17 sep), rishabh(17 sep)
after which the Bday boy has to distribute "single" Toffee to the classmates(Close friends had the prerogative of 2 or more) then a whole round of school(again his Best Friend will accompany him) to share his happiness with all the teachers :) i mean memories are so fresh that u can see the whole episode in front of ur eyes. I fondly remember those days when one felt like King of this world. As we grew up things changed, time changed and hence changed the whole Process of celebration.
Things at college were never same, i went to NIT-Bhopal(my first college) where we had the strangest way of Bday Celebration. Process was such that Innocent Guy may even die in Pain moreover he will be forced to think WTF!!!! is it my bday or the beginning of my Funeral??
Bday boy was beaten(only on a specific place ;)) with chhapals, belts, shoes & what not.
but then the fun was immense(especially for the guys who were crossed with Bday boy) and alcohol as usual makes the celebration "larger than life" and it used to go till the early morning.
a dialogue of which i would like to mention here
" nasha agar sharab mein hota to nachta bottle" wah wah !!! :)
Finally came the civilization(some of ur batch mates were matured enough not to beat you like hell) this was my second College, here we had those Cake-Cutting ceremonies(with my school Song in background bringing back those cute memories) and if you are notorious enough(like me & Abhishek A) you may have to bear the brunt of your mistakes on this very day.
Third Reason( if you forgot, Why i love this month) is The "Teachers day" i know i am late in wishing all the teachers who made many but futile efforts for making my future bright + shiny.
and "Jab jago tab Savera"
superbly fits in here. I thank all my teachers who helped me in making things better for me :)
especially Mrs Gangal Madaom, My first Class Teacher who was more of a guardian to me. On whose bday we(my friend jitender, & i) gave a dance performance on(tu cheez badi hai mast-mast & Ole-Ole) worse, we copied every bit of the steps: like jumping on the dirty & stony floor(i mentioned those tent days of my school) it hurts but applauds make it an awesome experience :)
Manocha madam(my hindi teacher), mr. Gossain sir(maths techer) who like all mathematician was horrifying in his ways (oye bekooooooofffff being his fav word)
In Engg college my attendance never rose above the 20% percent mark so cant write much about that phase of life (still thanks to the intellectual Profs for passing me out with more than 75%).
During Post Graduation, it was all about learning (5 pointer will always say so) though i manged a 6 in the end :) Yes, Thanks to all the faculty members because of whom there was such a nice atmosphere in college & a sound chemistry between students-prof(which we miss even now)
Still some mischievous derogate this beautiful occasion with mailers like the one shown below:
DAmnnnn You People... :X
Some of us think time shouldnt have changed but i guess if it had not i would have missed all these Occasions which were awesome in their own way :)
and i know there are people who wants the invention of Time-Machine ASAP so they can relive their past and change a bit of it...wishing Good luck to them :) i will end my post here, looking forward for your take on the "Time machine" Thing. Who all want that to happen please apne hath khade na kare bas keyboard par chalu ho jaye comment space mei with your views :)
I hope my Non-Sense compels you people to Correlate with the situations and help you Relive those moments again :) No time machine..see :)
Thanks :)

ReplyDeleteI still remember one incidence of Gosaii Sir when he was checking the homework of us and when my turn came, I went to him with my best possible innocent & naive looks and asked him " sir, yeh question kaise karna hai samajh nahi aa raha, plz bata dijiye".. I was just trying to divert his attention from my incomplete homework but ht caught me :(..aur fir neeche jhuka kar kya maara tha yaar peeth par !saala abhi tak fresh fresh yaad hai :(
